Admission to the bar

The Supreme Court admits lawyers to practise before the courts of the Zone and oversees professional ethics.

The examination

The bar examination requires proficiency in both Iradi and English commercial law. It is held twice a year, in spring and autumn, in the Hall of Justice.

1. Degree in law from Talas State University or a recognised foreign university.
2. Application to the Registry with the diploma, passport and two references from members of the bar.
3. Written examination in both languages, followed by an oral examination before a panel.
4. Oath before the Chief Justice and entry on the roll.
