Seminar for judges of the district courts on jury trials

On 22–23 September 2016 the Supreme Court together with the Faculty of Law of Talas State University held a seminar for judges of the district courts on the conduct of criminal trials with a jury under the Judicial Reforms Act of 2003.

The participants discussed the selection of jurors, the directions of the presiding judge to the jury and the questions put to the jury for the verdict. Twenty-six judges from the district courts took part.
