Plenum on disputes about dismissal under the Labour Code

On 16 April 2021 the Plenum of the Supreme Court adopted Resolution No. 1 "On certain questions of the application by the courts of the Labour Code in disputes on dismissal".

The study of the Department of Judicial Statistics and Practice showed that claims for reinstatement and unpaid wages are the most frequent labour cases in the district courts, and that their hearing is often delayed. The resolution gives guidance on the evidence of the grounds of dismissal, on the calculation of wages for the period of forced absence and on hearing such claims without delay.
