The courts in 2025: annual report

The Supreme Court published the annual report on the work of the courts of the Zone for 2025.

The district courts decided 17,940 cases: 7,310 civil, 2,460 commercial, 6,020 criminal (of them 38 with a jury) and 2,150 administrative. The magistrate courts decided about 41,600 matters, most of them minor offences and small claims.

The Supreme Court received 63 cases: 44 appeals, 12 commercial cases, 4 petitions for constitutional review and 3 matters of the bar. It decided 58 cases; 21 were pending at the end of the year. The average time from filing to decision was 5.1 months.
